Carers Australia is governed by a Board of ten directors. Eight directors are nominated by each of the state and territory carer associations. Two directors are co-opted on the basis of their skills and experience.
The Board of Directors are responsible for the governance of the organisation. The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for its management.
